RingAbroad is a web-based calling app — it runs in any mobile or desktop browser. There is nothing to install.
All rates are in USD per minute. Billing starts when the call is answered and stops when you hang up. No connection fees, no rounding, no hidden charges.
Rates are displayed in the app before each call is placed. Rates may change from time to time. A full searchable rate table covering all destinations is available after signing in.
Credit is purchased in advance and deducted as you call. There is no subscription and no minimum spend.
RingAbroad provides a prepaid calling service. Credit purchased is non-refundable once used. Where a call connected successfully (i.e. was answered by the recipient), the cost of that call is non-refundable, as the service was delivered.
If you experience a technical issue that prevented a call from connecting, or if credit was deducted in error, please contact our support team at info@ringabroad.com. We review all complaints individually and, where appropriate, may apply goodwill credit at our discretion.
Unused credit does not expire and will remain available in your account for future use.
Call quality depends on the internet connection of the caller (we recommend WiFi) and the mobile network signal of the person being called. RingAbroad routes calls via licensed UK telecommunications carriers and is not responsible for quality issues originating from third-party networks.
RingAbroad reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts used for fraudulent activity, abuse, or in violation of our Terms and Conditions. In the event of account closure for reasons other than a breach, any remaining credit balance will be refunded.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the RingAbroad voice calling service ("Service"), accessible via the web application at ringabroad.com and any associated progressive web application ("App"). By registering for an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Service is operated by Bizitel Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at Rhodes Minnis, Canterbury, Kent, CT4 6XT ("we", "us", "our", "Bizitel").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for and use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide during registration is accurate and complete.
RingAbroad provides browser-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calling via WebRTC technology. The Service allows you to make voice calls from your web browser or mobile device to landline and mobile telephone numbers in supported destinations worldwide.
3.1 Service Limitations
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and creating a password. You must verify your email address before your account becomes active.
5.1 Top-Up
The Service operates on a prepaid credit basis. You must purchase credit before making calls. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. The minimum top-up amount is $5.00 USD.
5.2 Call Charges
Calls are charged per minute at the rates displayed in the App at the time the call is placed. Rates are quoted in US Dollars (USD). A rate announcement is played before each call is connected.
5.3 Rate Changes
We reserve the right to change call rates at any time. Updated rates will be displayed in the App and announced at the start of each call. It is your responsibility to check current rates before calling.
5.4 Refunds
Prepaid credit is non-refundable except where required by applicable law, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you believe you have been incorrectly charged for a call, you may dispute the charge by contacting us within 30 days.
5.5 Credit Expiry
Prepaid credit will expire 12 months after the date of your last top-up or last outbound call, whichever is later. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before your credit is due to expire.
RingAbroad offers a referral programme. When you refer a new user using your unique referral link, both you and the referred user receive credit as displayed in the App at the time of referral. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral programme at any time. Abuse of the referral system may result in forfeiture of referral credits and account suspension.
We aim to provide continuous access to the Service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled or emergency maintenance, failures in third-party telecommunications networks, internet connectivity issues beyond our control, or force majeure events.
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with RingAbroad and the App are owned by or licensed to Bizitel Limited. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach any of these Terms, we detect fraudulent activity, we are required to do so by law, or you have not used the Service for 12 consecutive months. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon account closure, any remaining prepaid credit will be forfeited unless a refund is required by applicable law.
If you have a complaint about the Service, please contact us at info@ringabroad.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 10 working days.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2.1 Account Information — Your name, email address, and hashed password. Email verification status and account creation date.
2.2 Call Records — Destination number, call times, duration, cost, status, and network route. We do not record audio content.
2.3 Payment Information — Stripe customer ID, transaction amounts, dates, and payment status. We do not store card details.
2.4 Referral Data — Referral codes used and whether bonus conditions have been met.
2.5 Technical Data — IP address, browser type, device type, session identifiers, and WebRTC metadata for security and fraud prevention.
2.6 SIP Credentials — Temporary technical identifiers used to route your calls, expired automatically after use.

To provide and operate the RingAbroad calling service; process payments; send account-related communications; detect and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; improve the service; and administer the referral programme.
Stripe — processes payments as an independent data controller. Telecommunications carriers — receive the destination number to connect calls. Hosting provider — servers within the EEA under a Data Processing Agreement. Legal/regulatory authorities — where required by law. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
We use DTLS-SRTP encryption for WebRTC calls; HTTPS/TLS for all web traffic; hashed password storage; restricted database access; firewall protection; and fraud detection systems.
Under UK GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and the right to object. Contact us at privacy@ringabroad.com. You may also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
We use only strictly necessary cookies for authentication tokens, session identifiers, and referral code tracking. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
